help with wierd noise

Every time I accelerate or speed up I hear a ringing noise like a loose bolt I thought it was my new cat back (yonaka) that one of the bolts came loose but a mechanic checked it out and he said its coming from my transmission?? Could a transmission really make that noise ???? I know they can make other odd noises but this is new to me

replaced tranny and clutch kit and flywheel and rear main seal last year

It's very hard to diagnose a problem like this online without hearing the noise.

If it is transmission related, my first guess would be the input shaft bearing. It's a common thing to go, and will make noise when accelerating. Try and YouTube some videos of a bad ISB and see if it sounds similar to the noise that your car is making.

Sorry for replying late I have experinced a bad input shaft bearing that it makes like a un winding noise. The noise im geting is like a loose bolt or washer ringing sound FML for not having access to a lift
