i hav a 92 eg hatch with an ls swap and i went out to start it and it doesn not crank or turnover just clicks i checked the fuses and their all good and the start is new im wondering whats wrong any ideas? btw the batterys is good also

If it just clicks but does not even rotate its a good chance your starter is shot. However dont rule out your battery yet. Measure the voltage, it should read 12.6v. It can still read 12.6v even if the cells are weak thus not producing enough amps to get the starter going.

So what you can do is take your battery and starter to your local parts store and they should be able to test both units for free.

i would check the battery then work from there if it's not the battery and when i first read this thread i though the op has a ls1 motor in his car
