Okay guys I have a 94 honda civic I'm having problems with the speedo it seems to not work all of sudden what it is doing is when I turn the car on the speedo or odometer or the trip won't work everything else works fine tach good tem good gas good no check engine lights crusie works good I can't figure it out thanks ahead guys

Possible bad speedo sensor in the transmission. Just a guess

First off, is your Civic automatic or manual transmission? Has this problem happened before?
About how long has this issue been going on? Also, has any leaks recently (i.e. coolant) may have come in contact with the speed sensor or the electrical plug connected to it?
I would recommend replacing the speed sensor, but if that does not fix your problem then I suspect you probably have a faulty speedometer head.
