We installed my Coilovers yesterday in the dx sedan.
pics up when i finisht he roll heh..
anyways.
its nice and low and it rides good. but
it seems like the backend isnt setup right.
can anyone tell me how it would go from bottom to top
they are stock Honda Struts.
BaCKS is what I am looking for.
Bottome of Strut there is a black boot cup dealy :/
we put an O-Ring in there then the Sleeve. on the strut we have 2 Orings top and bottom. Then the Silver oring from teh original strut. then the top of the coilover system . then the top of the strut boot. and then the nut on the top. but for some reason. it sits really low in the stock strut. compared to the front which fit nicely with the thicker bottom part.
i know that makes not alot of sense but if you have installed coilovers i am sure you get the picture.
any help would be appreciated. as its nice looking but seems like the back isnt setup right.
only took 20 minutes per wheel for first timers.
not bad but thnk we did the back wrong.
anyways.
thanks for reading this continous runon.

i think i know what you are talking aboot.

is there two locking spinning dealys on your coilover?

if there is.. what i did was spin the one all the way to the bottom of the coilover.. and then adjust the height with the other one.

make sense?

probably not.

On mine, i have 2 O rings on the shock. Slid on the coilover sleeve over them. Had the adjusting collar on the sleeve and put the spring on the collar. Replace the rubber cover inside the stock top mount and use the new one that comes with the coilover. Then put the top mount on the spring and reassemble. Don't forget to reuse all the washers and cut the bumpstop.

thats the problem. we didnt reuse all the washers and cut the bumpstop..
we are redoing them tomorrow so hopefully we will get it done..
I think the bumpstops not being cut or maybe we just have them too low heh.. but hopefully tomorrow will fix it.
