b16 swap
turbo...

1 question all these people that have turbo.... how hard is it to put twin turbo on a b16 or if you even can? I know it will cost more... but i wanna do everything right the first time...

body kit
rims
interior

and last but not least
system haha i done blew my amp up soo it sux....

no big rush on mods.... i plan this taking me 2 - 3 years to complete

so say what you want heh im open to opinions on what i should do with the civic...

wanna know what i think? engine first, body last. nobody cares how your car looks if it's slow.

and skip the twin turbo idea, a turbo per two cylenders is kind of am unrealistic idea, and would look rediculous since you have 1 intake manifold. twin turbo setups are for more of a v engine setup with two intake manifolds, i.e. audi rs6 v8 bi turbo.

you can make plenty of power with one turbo, even on your d-series. just build the block to stand boost and you're good. i know that alot of people hate on turbo d's, but i've seen them hit 11's. in fact, i've filmed them doing 11's.

i dont want to disencourage you from going with a b16 though, they have alot more potential than your d16y8... it's just a matter of how much moola you got flowing through your pockets.

whatever you do, good luck!

thnx....

i was kinda ify about the whole twine turbo thing i seen a vid of a twin turbo civic and i was like hmmm i wonder.... but yea everyone where i live its friggin ricer city.... body kits aem cold air and thats it a few have rims....

i want power then trick up the body some....

so.... if i dont got gobbz of cash coming in how hard would it be to rework the block to handling boosts? or better yet how much $$$ will i be putting out?

If you want to go turbo, I'd suggest the B18C1. Like racecarl said, build the block to stand boost. That's true for turbo'd car. Of course start with your essentials I/H/E and then build from there ...

motor + turbo setup + labor = at least $10,000 .. then you would still need to upgrade the internals.

That is true.... some people make dreams come true and the others are full of talk.... i already have a list wrote out on first to last and have prices figured and actually already began saving... i only make $7.55/hr working 40 hr weeks in the winter and 50 hour weeks in the spring/summer with overtime pay so you wont see a huge change in looks or power untill this spring/summer/fall so i can get more $$$ coming in...
