Don't shave the trunk, please do lower it, and what's wrong with your current paint? Looks fine to me. BTW don't get an intake for an auto, you won't like it at all.

Welcome man! Thats a clean slate to start off on man. Your paint looks fine, is it fading or something?
I dont like black housed headlights for our Civics but they look really nice on black Civics. Get an intake bro, is it an EX or DX? Because those require two different intakes. My chick has an intake on her auto and she likes it.

Want ideas? Dark Creep's Tips:
-lower it.
-sidemarkers
-front and rear lip
-99-00 tails
-OEM spec fogs
-tint
-lower it a lil more
-rims (15", 16")
-DOHC swap + 5 sp
