Just got my older brother's '97 Civic Ex Coupe. I know very little about cars and need some help. My civic has some modifications to it but don't even know what they are. I want to make it look nicer so i'm here to look for help and some folks to be nice enough to lend advice. I will post up pictures later.

what route do you want to take, do you want to go with exterior mods first or do u want it to look nicer with more speed, i say get a front lip and a nice drop and go from there

Im looking for exterior look first. the cars got a messed up CF hood which i need to get looked at. it also has 17inch rims (don't know the brand), blacked out lights, oem or jdm style grille. I think it's dropped a little bit, but don't really know how to check.

I'm looking for a good front lip.Thanks for the reply!

nice, i say go with an OEM hood again, im guessing its most likely on drop springs, but you can just take the wheel off take pics of the suspension and we can tell you also, i would also loose the 17s and go with some 15s possibly 16s (i prefer the 15s myself), and look for some nice lips, i like the mugen one a lot for that body style

yah, the mugen replica grill looks terrible on coupes, i know first hand, i tried it for about a week, lol

yeah, that grille was one of the first things im tring to replace. I also need to find a place where i can restore/color match my CF hood. Ill post new pics when i add stuff
