well i just got a do it ur self headliner for my 97 civic and it looks amazing i got it black but now that i dont have the light grey on top the headliner plastic pieces dont match at all. i wanted to know if painting them is a good idea. i tried it wqith some stuff i got from auto zone but it keeps scratching off really easy, any ideas. its just for the headliner im not looking for anything ricey. thanks guys! would i use a clear coat after?

not that i know anything about paint... but i was under the impression that you really can't paint those interior pieces and have it look nice.

you could find some replacement panels in black though, i'm sure.
