Hey everyone !
I just bought a 1996 Honda Civic LX for my daily driver. It is pretty rough around the edges but I am pretty good at building up cars to their glory. I plan on doing a few mods on it - but first I need to focus on the asthetics. The paint is fading, the stock wheels are peeling, and it has some damage on the bumper. Also - the odometer doesn't work, the power mirrors don't work, the passenger window doesn't work. There are many things to fix in this car.
I plan to dip the car in a flat black as one of the first mods I will do so that the ugly green fading color can disappear. I also plan to install lowering springs (eventually coilovers) and new wheels (the Rota GT3 have looked pretty nice). But first - maintenance. I want to get a good looking body kit on it as well...but nothing to extreme. I just plan on making this a clean looking honda.
This is replacing my other daily driver I drove for a year and a half so that it can rest and be garaged. My other car is a 2008 Mistubishi Evolution X that I autocross and it will be nice to finally have another car to drive every day instead of putting all the miles and money into the Evo for maintenance and modifications.
Thanks all - looking forward to browsing the forum!
