Just bought my first car yesterday and it's a 1992 Honda Civic LX and looking around google found this site and decided to join. I put a link to a picture of my Civic on my profile, so you can check it out if you want. It's the 1.5 L non-VTEC SOHC engine (D15B7) but it runs very nice for 18 years old. The muffler spurts out smoke that smells like oil, but I heard it was just sitting for a while when I bought it. Alternator works fine, and my dad took a look at it and it's solid. I just replaced the VSS as the old one had a broken contact and it wasn't too hard to fix. Just took out two bolts, went to the junkyard and yanked one out of a 95 Civic, and put in mine and drove it around the block to test it. My mom's going to insure it tomorrow so I can start driving it. I'm getting my license hopefully next month so I'll be on my own with my first car. i absolutely love this thing. Once I save up some more money, I'm gonna get it painted either gloss black/red or lime green. It has flat black primer on it now. Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself.
