Hello everyone my names Dylan.

Never owned a civic before this will be my first. Not sure what type I want to buy yet but I will be making a purchase hopefully in the next couple weeks. I've done a bit of research and I just want a fun fast little car that's street legal. Basically I think I wanna do a b20b/b16a swap? I'm not sure yet still reading lots of thread :P If anyone has suggestions on what type of civic I should lean towards I'm all ears =) I was thinking 5th gen?

Welcome. It's really up to you on what car you want. Most ppl like 6th gens or 5th gens. decide what your overall goal of the car is, should help you decide.

Welcome to CC! I own a 98 CX hatchback. I love it! Aside from performance wise, been a great reliable car for YEARS.

The 98 EX coupe, with the trunk, are really nice. I mean even the 2000 model too. I like the models 96-2000. They're very reliable and easy to work with engine wise. The EX is nice. Look those up.

My EJ8 (97 Civic EX) is fun, but I bought a car that needed more work than I anticipated. My advice: when you do start looking, BE THOROUGH AND PICKY. Look at even the most miniscule detail with the utmost scrutiny! Get your money's worth!

:hi:

All about that 6th gen =)

Do a B20Vtec!

Anywho, please for the love of God research before you make a thread about something. 99% of the questions you have have been covered on some Honda forum. ESPECIALLY the "what motor should I get" ones. Those drive me up a wall.
