b20 (you didnt specify which one)
Type B20B four-cylinder OHV, with five main bearings.
1990 cc (88.9 mm bore X 80 mm stroke).
9.5:1 compression ratio, 9.3:1 for some markets.
Two SU HS6 carburetors.
100 bhp at 5.500 rpm.
112 lb.ft at 3.500 rpm
The other thing is too, If you are going to build a motor for turbo, you can specify what compression you want for the motor when you rebuild it and 9.5:1 or even 10:1 is a good ratio for boost... its not too high but then again its not too low either
It all just depends on how much money you are welling to spend. i would say a b16 or b18. As far as to turbo or nitrous i would defintely go with a turbo !
b18b is the ls motor, the itr motor is the b18c5......but id say buy a b16a2....im not sure if they make obd2 b16a like JDM, becuase isnt Japan stil at obd1?? but a b16a2 is from a USDM 99-00 Si, and will bolt right in with exception to vtec wiring
