hi im a noob to this site and i got sum questions. whats the best engine swap for a 96 dx. and whats better in the long run turbo or nitrous.

B16a2 or b18? and Turbo is better in the long run definetly

The other thing is too, If you are going to build a motor for turbo, you can specify what compression you want for the motor when you rebuild it and 9.5:1 or even 10:1 is a good ratio for boost... its not too high but then again its not too low either

It all just depends on how much money you are welling to spend. i would say a b16 or b18. As far as to turbo or nitrous i would defintely go with a turbo !

b18b is the ls motor, the itr motor is the b18c5......but id say buy a b16a2....im not sure if they make obd2 b16a like JDM, becuase isnt Japan stil at obd1?? but a b16a2 is from a USDM 99-00 Si, and will bolt right in with exception to vtec wiring
