the plan is to go for a b16 engine and turbo it  (unless i learn a better idea on here)

as said this will b my first honda project and tbh at the min all the gen's and engine codes are confusing me as it is

:hi:

So many smilies!

Research everything! You have a question? I'm sure it's been covered somewhere.

As far as the motor goes, research peoples build threads/set-ups and you'll really learn what you want :thumbs up

The lack of torque. You will see after some research that a b16 is an overrated pos motor. In my mind anyways.

b16 is weak. If you want to boost then the GSR engine (b18c1) is pretty good. But do some research, look at ls/vtec turbo setups and such.
:thumbs up There's better swaps out there for the money.

Or B20V. The new thaaaaang.

Actually they're a lot of fun to drive IMO.

Yep. For all you hipsters out there an N/A b20/vtec puts down alot of power for the $.

Welcome I started here also and have learned ALOT...check out the build thread section of the site to get more info on different engines and what not...also research suspension setups and do not dive into what everybody else tells you to do....again research and find out what you like even though what you see will influence you since your new..can't forget the most important rule of all..DONT CHEAP OUT AND GO CRAZY ON EBAY YOU WILL REGRET BUYING CHEAP PART.what doesn't hurt your pockets now will burn a hole in them later....you can get good parts on ebay but you must search to find it 9/10 times the first thing that pops up is junk...oh yea and welcome to the ADDICTION.
