Just turned 22, white male from Washington state. I used to own a 2001 Honda Civic DX Coupe. I was in love with it. Perfect car for me (except A/C would have been nice and never got around to getting rims for it).
One day my buddies and I were drinking and decided to go get some Jack in the Box (the "really big chicken sandwich deal" was going on at the time). Anyways, long story short: my sober friend drives, drunk 20-year old woman swerves around the corner in her '07 Scion TC, comes into our lane, we t-bone the woman, my face hits the headrest in front of me and peels back half of the skin on my forehead down to my eye, to the point you could see my skull, and now all I have to get a new car is the money I get from State Farm for not being able to work (a measly $200 a week).
That looks like an italicized University of Washington emblem (my future alma mater)
So nowadays I scour craigslist looking for the perfect car such as the one I previously owned. I figured this forum would be a good community to join since I'm not a mechanic and would like opinions on prospective purchases. Perhaps I could buy a car from a Washington state forum-goer.
In any case, there's my intro.
