high clutch pedal.

hello guys,

I bought my 00 civic si few months ago,and facing the follwing problem.
the clutch pedal is too high, for exmaple when i lift the pedal almost 70 % it is still like totaly pressed down!! the car start to move and the last 30% of the pedal.
i know not cearly explained LOL =) hope u got my point... can any one help how could this problem be fixed?

Is it the original clutch? Have you checked the clutch reservoir fluids?

Sounds normal to me, but you can check the pedal height adjustment:

Not really complicated. You just need a ruler and a wrench. The clutch pedal is adjusted for proper height and free play once and, since the clutch self adjusts, it should not be necessary to do again until the clutch is replaced.

Hi.

I tried doing it but when I'm turnig locking nut the pushrod is turning with it. I noticed there is another nut between the locking one and the body (that joins the pushrod to the pedal) that has only 2 flat sides (as opposed to hex) which is turning as well. I dont have another 12mm spanner to lock it in order to undo the locking nut but I'm sure there is something wrong with it.
