High Output Alternator wiring

I finally found an Alternator (140 amp) for my 08 civic sedan and it says I need cable to connect it and a fuse and all the hoorah, can the old harness and wires be plugged into this alternator it is an exact fit the site says, or do i actually need a ANL fuse and wire run into the positive battery terminal?

actually as i look into it more im reading that you add an additional power supply line, from the new alternator to the battery leaving all of the old connectors and lines in place and connected.

Can anyone confirm this?
