HMM? Rear Seat Question...

will itr db8 (integra type r sedan for you sharp people) rear seats fit into a 96-00 civic sedan?

i've checked everywhere - no ones done this, except in coupes... or at least they don post about it

be great if i can be 100% sure

ok.. heres as much info as i have... the itr rear seats "kind of" fit 6th gens..

the hatch teg goes with the hatch civic due to the 50 50 split

the four door teg go with the civic coupe due to the 60 40 split...

as far as i know that is the ONLY difference.. so i would assume that whichever the sedan has (60 40 i think) that is the itr seats you would use.. but in all honesty i always thought it would be better to just get the OEM ones that fit perfectly recovered (profesionally) that way you have brand new fabric... perfect fit.. probably abotu the same price?

well i work for an importer... and my cost is dirt cheap... they usualy go for like 300USD...
and for what i can get em for no way would recovering be same price sand this set is mint and hard to come by as they are db8, not coupes..

but regardless of the 60/40 split which i could care less about cause i done use my trunk but the itr sedans have this too if i rememebr.

but i have a sedan, and have sedan itr seats here. and am just wondeirng if they fit into the sedan, not a coupe or hb...

so do db8 sedan itr rear seats fit perfect into a civic sedan?

yeah im in the smae boat...cant find nothing for a 4dr...my eg8 doesnt have a split either.

for sedan what u do is look for euro seats..
thos are pimp, no one has them, and have a center consol for the rear...

but back to itr db8 sedans into ek sedans

again.. whatever your four door has (60 40) or (50 50) are the itr seats you need (if YOUR seats are 60/40 than you need four door itr seats... and if they are 50/50 then you need coupe itr seats).. they will more than likely fit but with the same gaps.. and it doesnt matter if you care or dont care.. lol for them to fit you need the same split your car came with because the part where it clicks in on the top.. needs to line up.. in regards to the install id just follow the tech for a coupe or hatch.. they dont fit perfectly for ANY of them.. there are always gaps..

well the sedan fits into coupe but with gaps on the sides do to the rear doors in sedans...
but would there be gap in the sedan?

yes there will be gaps because its not the exact same body and mounting.. think about it.. the interior is just different.. its CLOSE but its still different..

as youve stated.. ive never personally seen them in a four door... but NORMALLY its between the back part and the actual seat... regardless if you can get them that cheap.. and they are that mint.. order them.. put them in.. if you dont liek them im SURE you could sell them and even MAKE money off the deal..

lol well they are here, and iknow they are mint. no sundamage whch itr rears in general are known for.
i'm just at work and can't intall them at the moment lol.. i know yes i can just do tht, but wondeirng if i'm wasting my time...

i love my sedan and sedans ingeneral, not many whore them out, but for that reason its hard to find s**t...

ah well regardless i will just install test fit, if they don fit i return them...

what i have now is basicly sparco replicas form my work:

i still vote for recover ONLY because it would be flawless.. maybe just sell the jdm ones you have and use the cash to get the rears recovered... im all for jdm s**t.. but i just think there are cleaner options especialy when you are into that whole "show" thing.. ill fitting back seats, jdm or not.. will probably HURT your show judging VS helping it..

NOT knocking you do what you want.. i just think that there are better options..

well thats the thing. i'll fit them.. if they fit perfect then i'll keep em. if not then find another route...

thats the thing, i din buy them, i work for a japanese jdm importer lol... so we ge thti all the time, if i don want it i don take it.. but why not? if they are mint and have no damge then why wouldn't you install them?

you cant find anyone that has integra rears in a sedan?i find that odd, bc i personally know one person with that setup however im not real sure exactly how well they fit. im just saying, itr is not gona be any different than gsr, and typically 4dr gsr seats fit best in sedan/coupes and 2dr gsr seats fit best in hatches
