ho alt idle voltage

just wondering anyone with an ho alt whats your voltage at idle.I tested mine at the alt and got 14.4.and then tested it at the batt with car on and got 14.4.with the car off i get like 12.9 and was wondering if there was any way to get it higher.

u should be around 14 volts no matter what..

make sure to test with no draw on the battery...

your idle voltage is perfect at 14.4v. it would be the same if it were a standard alt.
