Alright guys I have been working on putting a homemade kit together for my d16 and already have a couple of thing and It seem to be much cheaper if i make my own parts..

So a while back i had a local muffler shop fab me up a custom exaust for my car and it was really cheap because the owner is friends of the family....

So........ I got to thinking and i thought about just having them make me up a custom ic piping, and get a dp flange and make a custom downpipe aswell.. It would be alot cheaper than buying one perfect fitment and more durable aswell.

My question is would this type of tubing be ok for ic piping? i belive is aluminized steel? I would assume it would be fine. Just thought I would check and see if anyone has any insight on this or has done this before.

Errm, it's really heavy compared to aluminum. You should ask if they have aluminum instead of steel or whatever else they use for exhausts.

most exhaust shops arnt going to have aluminum, but if they can weld it see if you can pick some up from a store and have them weld it for you.

Talk to Greg @ Go-Autoworks. He custom makes piping, etc. I got mine from him, and the fitment was absolutely perfect..
