I personally loved mine. It hit hard enough to make the roof go up and down, and it was unexpected. I even made two girls throw up!!!! highlight of my car audio career!
The headunit was a Alpine IDA-X100 with ipod connect in arm rest for easy access, I know we all love easy access =) Also removed the radio. Amp was a alpine V-power m1000 that was 1000 watts rms, 2/0 wire and yes it was like trying to wrestle a snake. The sub was a Soundstream tarantula T2-12 that was 1000 watts rms in a box that was either 3.0 or 3.5 cubic feet and ported to spec. Power cap was a Mobilespec 5 farad cap with a voltmeter ran inline, and a voodoo power distribution block with another voltmeter supplied by Optima yellow top. I dynamatted the whole car, which i regret. I put in 200 amp fuse block so i could cut power to the sub easily, and then kicker 6.5s in the doors and kicker 6x9s in the rear. the kickers were the down fall of it, i was planning on upgrading to JL, but i decided to ditch the audio all together. I feel like i just wrote down a essay

I got two 8" Bazookas and one 8" Home Theatre sub in custom box and NO AMP!!! It hits hard enough to make my rear window flex!

that sir is complete bull s**t. bazookas have a amp build into them. Home theater subs run at a higher ohm and have a amp. And to make your rear window flex you need a incredible amount of power. your door speakers also run off of a amp, but its built into your headunit. so you should probably just not talk

um...you should do your homework. self powered bazooka tubes are a VERY SMALL part of the bazooka line. they also sell unpowered tubes, standard subs, amps, speakers.

well then how is he running no amp? and i made the mistake of assuming it was a bazooka tube since he said 8 inch. thats my bad. but im still lost at no amp

you made the mistake because other people ASSUME subs don't need amps, and because you ASSUMED he was running a powered Bazooka tube. you're statement of Bazooka has built in amps is totally not relevant because the OP could be correct in saying that he has no amp and has 2 bazooka 8"s because they make just subs, and loaded enclosures, and then they make self powered enclosures. if there is one thing i've learned in the years of doing this, don't assume. if he said no amp HE assumes no amp. we both know he has at least a little amp in the HU, but really...don't jump down his throat.

your right, i shouldnt assumed or jumped down his throat. I have a tendency to go off, lets just say pre-med is stressful. very. but lol my bad OP. just some of that didnt make sense. no amp. home theater sub. flexing glass.
