Yeah Im planning on boosting in the near future, Im thinking about going with Hondata, I went on there website and Im not sure which one I should go with. Im going to be boosting an H22, so I want to make sure I can get everything tuned right. they want $300 for the s200 with a $200 extra boost option or I can get the s300 for $600 for the everything plus some other options, Which one should I go with? thanks boots

Hondata is a good company BUT, there have been bugs in all there systems, personaly i havent used s300 yet, but im sure it will. they are claming that all the bugs are gone and it will be hasle free. But i stand by AEM EMS, its kinda hard to find a good tuner for it but you will be happy you got it, to me its 100 times better than hondata. let me know im i direct dealer for both AEM and HONDATA.

I can't afford the AEM one, so I problably going to go with the Hondata, but won't be getting it for awhile, if you could shoot me a price on how much the s300 would be shipped and installed, I would appreciate it. Thanks Dakota

use cromepro or neptune. research both, find where there are good licensed tuners for both around you and go with whichever you can get a better tuner for.

I don't know if you have any Neptune tuners in your area, but I've heard straight from Arturbo/T1 that Neptune is easier to tune with.

Just something to think about.

ive heard just the opposite. im a cromepro tuner, and its very very user friendly. ive yet to get to play with neptune, but from what ive read from jeff evans and others is that its a more powerful proggie, with a lot more options, but has more of a learning curve than cromepro.

The way Art put it, was that on Hondata, if you need a custom change done in order to tune it, they would have to call Hondata and have them send it to them. WIth Neptune, they can change any setting they want throughout the entire system right then and there.

I don't know anything about Crome, never used it.

oh your talking plugins and such. then you are correct, neptune, crome, and others are all user programmable, where as hondata, to protect their investment, will only load new software and plugins if you send the unit back to them. i was speaking to the actual tuning experience of the software interface. cromepro has a very nice autotune feature, which does a lot of the guesswork for you. neptune (as far as i know) doesnt, but neptune does have a quad stage boost contoller setting, nitrous compatability, and a lot of other features.

Im either going to go with chromepro or the hondata S300, I will research and try and see if there is any good chrome tuners around me that are close(if anyone knows some please let me know thanks), now you say if I want to change something on the Hondata I have to send it back to them, I thought they were fully programable and you could change and adjust whatever you wanted with them, sorry if I seem stupid about these programs, I know really nothing about them.

I was thinking about going with hondata, but I dont want to do the OBDI conversion. They did the Kpro, why cant they have OBDII ECU's for the B-series guys? Because if this I'm thinking personally AEM is my only choice... otherwise go with the S300, its got everything you need in one package and then some!

No no no, they are fully adjustable.
