ok so i have a 93 civic with a jdmb18c in it.it has hondata s200 bu the hondata is tuned for a b16.i wetn online to hondata.com and downloaded the hondata logger program and i pluged the ecu to my computer but it wont let me adjust nothing .is there another program i need or what.

You need the Rom editor program. You can't change anything by just downloading it.

You have to get the S200/S100 rom editor program, edit the rom, then burn it to a chip.

im pretty sure the rom editor is already on my chip i still have the original box and it has checked dattalogger and romeditor the only problem im having is it wont conect to my ecu. when i plug the ecu into my computer my computer recognizez it and tries to download somthing but my computer says that it couldnt find the drivers so my ecu wont be recognized by my pc

As 93 turbo said, you need the program on your computer. Make sure you select what ports your using too.

i do have the program i downloaded it off hondata tahts what i said but i cant get it to recognize the ecu

OK, if you downloaded the logging program or whatever you have it will not change the parameters on the ecu without the use of a chip burner or an ostrich emulator.

I am not very familiar with the logging aspect of the S200 system, but if you have a program and no burner.. the only thing you will be able to do is log.

ok i think i figured out my problem i didnt no that you couldnt take the ecu out of the car i was taking mine inside my house to my computer but ill find a laptop and get it goin
