Hi, i am currently running a stock d16y8 with exhaust and intake. I was wondering if there is any kind of tuning such as hondata that would be worth it to me. I dont wanna spend a boat load of money but just want something different to play around with. Let me know guys, any info would be great

in my experience with the Y8 engine, there wont be much difference if you get a hondata chip. hondata isnt very cheap either. u must buy the chip, either s100, s200, or s300. then u must get it placed in your ECU. its also recommended to have the car tuned on a dyno.

I need to reset MIL (check engine) light

Hi all, This may belong in a dif category--if so, sorry--but I need to reset the MIL light on my 2002 Civic LX. I took it to Autozone for a diagnosis, but the clerk said they're not allowed to reset. The thing is, I need the light to be off when I take the car to have its emissions checked, which is mandatory for renewal of registration. The back story is that when the light originally came on more than a year ago, I took the car to the Honda dealer who--$260 later--said that he couldn't figure out what the problem was but would be happy to look into the problem further if I'd leave the car overnight. Sure, like money grows on trees and I'd write him a blank check. Anyway, the car still runs great, gets 35-38 mpg, so I'm prepared to live with the light until something more serious needs attention. Meanwhile, there's that pesky matter of renewing the registration.... Help!
