how much different is the 2dr hood different for the 4dr hood and will it fit, a 2dr or hr hood on a 4dr

the 4 door hood is longer than the 2 door hood. Hatchback and 2 door hoods are interchangeable from what i know, but i am pretty sure you cant put a 2 door hood on a 4 door.

i just got a vis carbon fiber hood that was 2dr and the guy said it will fit a 4dr so yes you prolly can

They are, in fact, different. Coupe = HB front end. Sedan does its own thing.

From what I understand, the 6th gen hoods are the ones that are all the same. On 5th gen hoods, sedan hoods won't fit coupes or hatches. Aren't the headlights even shaped a little diferent too?

Btw, CarbonCreations knows what he's talking about. Go out and try to fit a sedan hood on a coupe or hatch. Remember, we're talking 5th gens here, not 6th gens. Maybe you could ask slambed_civic, he owns both a 5th gen hatch and sedan.
