so i got into an accident a little over a year ago in my car, after that the horn stopped working. in december of last year i took it into the shop. the mechanic there told me that the horn itself is okay and the fuse is okay so it must be the ground or some wiring in between. he then went on to tell me it would cost 100 something dollars to fix. i said f**k you to that and left. well i forgot about it up until recently when a couple of different people at different occasions cut me off. i was reduced to flipping the bird. so my question is does someone have a wiring diagram for the horn or can someone explain what i should check for in the wiring?? the car is a em1 thanks in advance

The horns wiring is really simple.

get to the horn and just trace the wiring back.

my horn hasnt worked since i got the car, all i have to do is replace the fuse though

The Two wires run from where you stock intake box use to be just follow the only line that runs in frount of your radiator.. just put your had through the grill it should be on the right side... I also removed my stock horn.. very easy to do.

another way to check it is to run test light on there too, and have another person push the horn button while your testing the lead and that will tell you if its a switch, lack of power, or bad ground

just use a mulitimeter and at the horn check the two wires for continuity. if you get some sort of feed back it's not the wireing, if you checked the fuse and the fuse is ok its not the fuse of course. then its time to replace the horn yup. if it was me I'd upgrade....stolle racing apprentice
