How can i make it louder??

After installing my turbo kit,my car is so much more quieter.I got a stock cat.,and the apexi n1 catback exhaust.I just want to know how i can get my car louder like it used to be.I hear like an eclipse and a wrx with turbo and they are loud like mine used to be.I just wonder how i can increase the sound in my exhaust,mainly to make it deeper.Would a test pipe?Or a 3'' pipe replacing my catback piping now?Any help is appreciated,.thanks.Jesse

Yea,the exhaust is really quiet,like the muffler,the BOV is really loud.

Turbo's generally act as a muffler, so if your state doesn't have a law stating that you HAVE to have a muffler, then just run a straight pipe. Personally I think they sound like s**t without a turbo exhaust of some sort, but it will be louder fot you.

Cars that are turbo are naturally quieter. The way to make your car as loud as possible having a turbo would be to run straight 3in pipe all the way back to the muffler.

im gonna try and run a 3" from the cat right out the back, no muffler...its gonna be quiet enough.

I bought an Apexi N1 turbo muffler, but only because I think cars look bad with out some form of a muffler. Plus the N1s sound awsome.

from your manfild down, run a test pipe to your cat... change the cat to a street race cat of a bloq through cat... i recommend the street race cat because they do operate with SOME back pressure... then do a greddy evo cat back or an APEX'i catback the greddy is like 2 3/4" piping.... and it sounds awsome

I'm thinkin of trying the test pipe first,seeing how thats one of the cheapest options so far.Does any one know how that sounds with a TP on it?I dont want it to be obnoxiously loud and whiny.Mainly just wanted to see if there was anyone else that tried this.Thanks.Jesse

if you don't have a cai or short ram take out the resinator box and that makes it much louder...

but i bet you already got a cai tho

Straight piping is a 3 grand fine if they catch you, btw

stupid stupid stupid nOObs.... you dont have headers on a civic... you have A HEADER... and with turbo you can only have a TURBO MANIFOLD....
