How Come This Doesnt Seem Right?

Ok, ive been reading up and everywhere i go i see that GSR swapped 5th gen hatchbacks with tons of mods only run like mid to high 15's or low 16's? Thats crazy! When a bone ass stock 99 SI, no mods, runs like 16's. The hatch weighs less, has more torque and hp then the d16. I looking in to buying a GSR swapped 93 si but are they even fast? Whats the truth about this? What would you expect a 93 Civic SI/GSR swapped. Intake,headers, cam gears, lowered, clutch masters stage three clutch run in the quarter mile and hit sixty!!??

99 si isnt a D16 engine...it's a B16....unless thats not what you were talking about.

almost all the gsr powered 5th gens i know of run mid-high 14's

a friend of mine had his 93 dx coupe witha gsr running low 14's.

if your running a gsr in your EG and only pulling 16's, your doing something wrong

just like the others, all my friends with that have hit 14's without a problem

oh ok good. Some people were saying that it was in the 16's. About how many car lengths would that be on a SI in a race?

who cares about the car lenghts, if your worried about beating someone, forget even racing them, if you dont have enough confidence, thendont do it, really shouldnt be street racing anyways.

ya for real man, a stock grs can pull high 15's. put that motor into a car with less weight should equal better times, if not then the peeps got issues.

gsr with mods run 14's bro, they have some s**t messed with the swap or its the drivers
