youll need a sandwich adapter for the oil filter to fit the sensor for the gauge.

Depending on the motor, some civics have a sending unit already on the block just above the oil filter. If so, put a T-fitting with some hose running to the gauge sending unit and mount the stock sending unit on the other end of the T.

I don't know the brand of the gauge, but you can get the "T" from somewhere that sells Autometer gauges. Hell, I'm sure any place that sells gauges will have the fittings and hose.

For starters, you need to know if the gauge is mechanical or electric. If it is mechanical, you will need a clear hose line that goes from the sensor to the gauge. If it is electric, the sensor will just be wires.

To tell, look at the back of the gauge. If it is electric it will just have wires coming out. If it is mechanical, it will have a threaded fitting for the coupler that goes on the end of the hose.

I would recommend getting some tubing and following the drawn picture in the link I provided.

If you put the T directly on the block, the weight from it and the sensors could cause some problems. I have heard of them breaking off. The pic in the link is basically saying that you put the tube into the block with a fitting and run it to the T that should be mounted in a safe location or zip tied to something that doesn't move around. Then you connect the sensors to the other ends of the T.

The things coming off the T in the pic above are 1) right one is the stock sending unit that should be mounted to the block and 2) the aftermarket sending unit that sends the signal to the aftermarket gauge.

and also how would i run tubes if it is an electric gauge ? im not sure what you mean by that?
The tube goes from the block to the T, to supply oil, to tell the sensors what the pressure is. The sensors tell the ecu and the gauge what the pressure is so they can relay it to the driver.

Should be anywhere that sells an oil pressure gauge. Where did you get the T? They should be able to help you unless you went to somewhere like Home Depot then it probably won't fit anyway. How do you know the thread is correct for your block? I don't know other than what resources I have local to me or 95% of the time I just order off the net. I also have never used anything other than Autometer or AEM gauges and they have their own sending units.

I am sorry I can't help much more than the link and info that I have provided. I just don't know anything about the Ractive gauges so I can't recommend a direction to point you in for what sending units would work. Perhaps you can send Ractive an email through their site (if they even have one) or through a dealer/store that sells them and see what they recommend. They may even have their own sending units that they sell. They have to send something with their gauges or they wouldn't work.
