how do u clear tail lights?

96 hb. i was bored today and was trying to clear my tail lights. i ended up going around buying tools... so i didnt get the chance to do much. i was wondering how do i take out the lights and the bumper? there are screws everywhere and i dont no how am i suppose to reach it. mayb im doing it wrong hahaha. someone help plz

I have a 96 EX-R and my tailights are screwed in from the trunk. Lift the hatch and pull the matting away from behind the lights, you should see some screws there.

On that note, as far as I know, you can't "clear" tailights like headlights. The lenses themselves are painted so I'm not sure how you would do it other than replacing them with clears or altezzas.

Clearing tail lights is almost impossible well at least i couldnt do it, just add a nice coat or gloss black paint over the amber and it gives you a really nice dark black effect.

I dont think you can clear tail lights...I know you can clear headlights though cause mine are but dont think tails can be

black em out w/ the night shades spray then put on a coat of clear coat gloss and it looks hella good.

get that night shades stuff i was talkin bout its like $10 a can and like $5 a can for clear coat...

i got mine at a place called trailblazers, i dunno if this place is a chain or not but thats where i got it.

you won't be able to find it at autozone or advanced, look for it on ebay i think that there was some the last time i checked

just take off the tabs holding up the matting and you should see the the back of the tails with the screws u need to take out

clearing headlights: take off the cover. remove orange crap

clearing hatchback tail lights: it cant be done. cause its part of the outer shell.
