...cut down your shifter to make it shorter, rather than buying a short shifter?
what? um .... you're an imbecile, really. how do you not fall down more?mymmeryloss said:the only way i can see you breaking it is if you cut it and reweld it. cutting it and rethreading it is not a big deal, it actually makes it stronger, it like breaking a stick--the smaller it gets, the harder it is to break..
chris
I like having a short shifter because with the arm and knob i have, my shifter is seriously like 2" shorter. It doesn't affect s**t, but it just feels better and looks better to me. I know that it by know means helps me shift faster, or half-shift or anything .... my feet and hands do thatDirtyD said:or just keep your stock one and slap yourself for buying into ricer bullshit
yea, I had one in my Civic too cause I have long arms and it was more comfyEran said:I like having a short shifter because with the arm and knob i have, my shifter is seriously like 2" shorter. Yes, rethreading something is not dangerous ..... just stupid in my opinion And what's this about a skunk2 being taller than stock? When I installed mine, it sat lower. Maybe because I have a d-bend.mymmeryloss said:the only way i can see you breaking it is if you cut it and reweld it. cutting it and rethreading it is not a big deal, it actually makes it stronger, it like breaking a stick--the smaller it gets, the harder it is to break..
