just turbo my jdm b16. did change head gasket to a cometic head gasket and put in arp head studs. I Installed the full greddy kit for my motor. the kit only boosts at 5 lbs. whant to know if i can boost more, and how much with out blowing up my motor. And other internals are now still stock. lookin for any help possible

on stock internals i wouldnt run no more than 10.....10 is what im going to run on stock internals....plus your MAP sensor cant tune over 11.2 psi
yea since u have a new hg and arp headstuds im sure u can run 10 psi no problem...also as long as you have a good tune....thats the most important part....
thanks for all the info. will be a 10 psi this weekend after some tuning and a dyno run. of course it wasnt my only ride the car would be fully raced out. but im quiet happy with the results i got so far. OOO ya if lookin for a good performance tire at $61.00 eace tirerack.com the general tire uhp works great even in the snow i got this weekend. i launched at 4500 rpm in the cold at 13psi in the tire. hooked right up perfect. dont let the price full you. i use to get bf goodridge street radials. theis work just the same. once a gain thanks
down here in MO they told me it would be 300-350 for a full dyno tune.
cost should NOT worry you. a great tune is what you want.
if you go to a shop , get a s**t tune for 200, and your motor blows, youll be paying more than just 300. if you go to a great shop, get a great tune for 350. you shouldn't worry at all

Greddy kits don't have intercoolers do they? make sure you fix that in some way, with an intercooler or alky injection. otherwise i wouldn't go much higher than 5 or 6 psi
i thought the b series greddy kits did, just the d series stuff didnt
the greddy kits have intercoolers. have to buy them seperately, plus even if he's not Ive seen people who were boosted 5psi and didnt run a intercooler, and they were fine.
Yea, they will be fine at 5 psi, but hes talking about bumping the boost up to 10, which I wouldnt run without an intercooler.mugenej8power said:
