I am buying a turbo kit the question is how much boost can i run with no tune its not a daily driver i was thinking like 1 or 2 psi i am going to get it tuned but my tuner is booked right know and i cant wait to see what it looks like?? B16a2

you can't change the psi w/o a tune. If you don't tune it, you have the possibility to run very lean/rich and blow up your motor.
make sure you have the money for a tune, a good tune. I would definitely recommend buying hondata (100,200, or 300)

I think hondata is over rated. any good tuner can tune a chipped ecu just as good as hondata

Hondata allows you to enter your own performance-related commands, datalogging, 3 step and much more.
With chrome and other tuning programs you cant expect amazing drive ability and you will probably have a whole lot of start up and load problems unless your tuner nails the settings the first time around.
If you are on a tight budget, you can download chrome easily, but i would still suggest buying hondata.

true, but if you have a very experianced tuner like mine (dave blundel), they can "nail the settings" the first time.

OP, there is no point in running 1 psi.
Get a basemap for your turbo setup and you can run it on that but not for a long time...
why dont you just wait untill you can get an appointment instead of running the risk of ruining your motor?
