sorry if this is an ignorant question but i cant find the information anywhere, anyways how much would it cost for me to piece together my own turbo kit. i would like to get around 300 hp thanks.

300hp on what motor? my buddy did his for around $2K

you can try for 300 but i dont think you will hit it you would have to boost around 15psi to get 300hp at the wheels im not sure if a stock b16 could handle 15psi reliably...

you can build a good setup for under $2000. and its easy to hit 300hp with a b16

show me, i want to see a 300whp civic with a stock b16 and done for under $2000...dont get me wrong it is possible but i cant see it running for very long on the street...

obd2 to obd1 conversion harness
p28 ecu running uberdata
intercooler
bov

buy what you want as far as brand names go but remember that stock pieces form other cars work just as well as aftermarket ones and are cheaper IE: dsm injectors and bov

300hp on a b16 is very possible, but not on stock internals. if it works on stock internals, it will work for about a week then explode.

there's a guy on here with an blue si w/the tsunami t2000 kit thats pushing or broke 300. not on stock internals though. don't get your hopes up too much on your little 160'er lol

alright sweet well i mean 300 is just the goal so ill reach it sometime but at least i get some more power which i really need right now haha. also do you think that i could install the kit myself or should i take it into a shop. i really want to be able to do it myself but if its a really high difficulty then i dont want to f..k anything up.

the only real hard part is tuning, everything else is just basic mechanical s**t maybe some welding will be required if your confortable doing it yourself go for it but do a lot research and reading and make sure you have everything to do it right and dont skimp on the engine management!!!!

k sweet i plan on taking it to a tune shop after the install but i have to get the money and the turbo first!
