How To Dye Your Carpet
TOOLS NEEDED:
about 5 boxes of rit dye (quanity averaged for carpet only)
sponge
hot water
latex gloves (unless you want colored hands)
your factory carpet
STEP ONE: take everything out of the car to get to the carpet seats, center console,etc...
STEP TWO: take out carpet
STEP THREE:prepare water (boil as hot of a temp. that you could tolerate to stick your hand in)
STEP FOUR:mix rit dye in container or bowl , stir till dissolved
STEP FIVE:soak sponge in dye and spread in all areas of carpet,scrub,scrub,scrub!
use your fingers and nails to get in deep (remember that the more dye you use the darker it will be)
STEP SIX:allow carpet to sit and dry (i let mine sit outside for about a day)
STEP SEVEN:install carpet and enjoy!
i also did my floor mats it took about 3 boxes of dye
