Hello every body!
Sorry for the misleading title, im new to site still and and just try to get as many replys as possible,

IM ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR AN INCREASE IN LOW END TORQUE
I KNOW THERE IS PROBABLY ALOT OF POST THATS ASK A SIMILAR QUESTION BUT I WANTED TO HAVE MY OWN POST AND TALK TO YOU GUYS PERSONALLY AND HAVE MY VERY OWN QUESTIONS ANSWERED,

So to start it off,
Can someone please give me a simple answer on how to get alittle more torque and over horsepower,
1.are there any bolt in mods that are proven unlike the short ram intakes and Electric turbos.. ect..
2.if not bolt in then what?, performance clutch?

3. Id really like the mods to be simple, im not really looking to do a swap Right now,
So is there anything like
Flushing the Intake system?
Flushing my engine?
Adjusting somthing?

AND ALSOO how can I make my car just al around run smoother and stay healthy, besides a simple oil change,

Thanks

What engine do you have? Have you tried doing a tune up? Some people have flushed the engine with sea foam.

SeaFoam is a chemical product used to dissolve hydrocarbons and other byproduct buildup in engine systems but this won't do much but keep it maintained. *you must replace all fluids after use*

For more torque you will have to do more than just a clutch, although with more torque output increased you will need to upgrade your clutch to handle it. I recommend a double plated clutch. Apart from that, one of the first things to increase tq output on an engine are ITB's. These will not run as a simple bolt on. You will need to do all the wiring and take it to a shop to Dyno Tune since I'm sure you do not have the experience or equipment to do so. This is a small step. I would advise for you to wait until you are ready for a swap since it is a wiser choice.

I read a post of building up a D16
And it was a very complex
Does anyone have an opinion on building up verses a swap?
I feel building up would be easy ass far as bein legal and everything,

U WONT REGRET IT!
^But I did.

Start with a full ignition system tune up, and also change the engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and air filter.

Fix all oil leaks and CEL codes.

Clean the IACV.

Do a brake job.

Replace the bald tires.

Then go from there.
