hey it says in that site about the diagnostic tachometer connection, and it was on a 2000, but is there one on a 92? i cant seem to find mine, and im not 2 sure if its there

Will this work on an automatic???? Same setup? The guy said I needed a little box that plugs intot he engine then into the tach? Cant I just wire the tach straight toth car without the little electrical box?
