How to: Install new Antena ?

I dotn know if its easy or hard to do. My mom broke my antenna when she was backing out of the garage, so today i picked up a new one. I searched for a How to on installing an antenna but couldnt find anything... Any help would be appreciated

I think the trick is to tie a 6-ft length of string to the end of the old antenna cable before you pull the antenna out of the pillar. As you pull the antenna out of the pillar and the string emerges, untie it and tie it to the cable of the new antenna. The string will then help you properly guide the new antenna cable through the pillar.

I'm so confused right now lol
I unscrewed the 2 screw and pulled some stuff out thats like connected to the antenna but idk what anything is
