How to wire alpine radio?

My friend just gave me an Alpine CDM-7861 for free.. it has a wiring harness but I dont know how to hook it up. I know I need the adapter, which i do plan on getting. I just want to know.. what wire goes to what? some are labeled and some arent.

Like, where does purple go to? whats a whtie wire?

that there is called half assin it radio's are pretty much universal since companies make ONE type of harness w/ the same colors, all you'll have to do is match colors the only ones that may not be used are your illumiation (orange wires) and don't listen to that tape s**t cut & solder THEN tape to do it right. hope that helps
