HX is randomly bogging down, minor loss of power, fuel needle drops

Hello there forum peoples,

Names Eric I have a 2000 Civic HX. I've had this problem for awhile now and can't seem to figure it out.
While driving my car at random times the car does one of the following; bogs down with loss of pick up, or fuel needle will drop from say full to 3/4 and slow rise to just below full while driving straight....no right turns involved.

Anyway, I have some basic knowledge of civics and am at a loss. I have done as follows:

New EGR Valve
Checked for vacuum Leaks
Cleaned EGR Passages
New Fuel Filter
New Fuel Injectors
Removed VTEC solenoid and cleaned area and replaced o-rings <- this one made no sense ,but was a suggestion from a friend with a civic so gave it a shot.
Also fuel pressure is fine.

I have pulled CEC codes are:

P0401 80 EGR Insufficient Flow Detected
P1457 90 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)
P1459 92 EVAP Emission Purge Flow Switch Malfunction

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated, now I have consulted MECHANICS. I have received different suggestions as to these codes giving me the symptoms I am having. One stated there is a 2-way bypass switch near my fuel tank that is my solid solution. Its only 55$ ,but I would like the advice from some people who really know civics before I make any further investments into the vehicle. Seeing as I have a perfectly good 97 HX sitting next to my shed just in need of a transmission.

Check your gas cap if it even seals right. Lack of pressure could make that fuel needle and your engine bog id assume.
Check the quality of the distributor cap and rotor.
I would think for the fuel problem its either your pump or a short in the signal.

Have you reset the ECU to see if the problem persists?

If you reset the ECU, do all codes return?

First focus on the EGR code. That's causing the performance problem.

Did you clean all the carbon out of the EGR ports and passages in the intake manifold. That's likely the source of the problem.

I have replaced egr twice and yes pulled the port plate off the intake clean out all carbon and replaced the gasket. Also I did check gas cap and it deals fine. When I reset the ecu yes all codes come back same day.
