Hyper Blinkers/Flashers

well, im about to order my hyper blinkers (the thing to make u signal hella fast) for my hatch..the only thing is..im not sure if i want to make it 4x faster or 6x..what you guys think? and do u guys know any sites tht sells them cheaper then 20 bucks? cuz the site i found was fa 20 bucks

bro, that s**t is pointless, yes youll stand out from the crowd, yeah stand out enough to get pulled over and given a ticket for strobe lights even though they arent but you cant argue with the law bro, i believe theres a DIY on flashers, all i know is that theres a relay in the dash that must be replaced, but dont bother with it too much hassle, but thats my opinion.

all you had to do was clip the resistor for the flashers and re-solder in a lesser ohm resistor... way cheaper than $20... but still, a pointless mod IMHO

Or you can buy those led red apc light bulbs and plug them in..
i think thats all i did for mine... unless theres a short somewhere...
for some odd reason.. all i did was replace bulbs and my blinker
blinks... 3-4 times as fast. No modd'ing required.

You know i've never really tested to see if thats all it is...
hmm wait till thursday and i'll test and if it is...

i bought that thing a while ago for $10 and it has the know to go from normal to 12x faster. it got annoying after a while, so it's set at a normal speed. it aint worth it.

That is true..i was pissed that this happen wihen I used LED signals instead. The leds have a lower resistance consuming little to no power fooling the relay to switch open/close fast. When one of your oem bulb burns out, you signals will blink fast letting you know that one of the bulbs went out when there is a drop in resistance.

Get a potentiometer. Once you wire that into the stock relay, you can adjust the speed as fast as you want or slower than stock. Otherwise just change the relay...find that on google for diy or do a search somewhere.

[For LED bulbs]
I dont like it though but the only way to fix that is to install an inline resistor at how many K Ohms, I dunno.
