Well, two days ago i finally lowered my car on koni yellows and H&R sports. I loved every minute of driving the lowered car. We'll, I managed to do something very stupid. I entered a turn at a faster speed than usual, but i don't think i could have been going more than 30 miles per hour. Basically, the car didn't turn as it should have, understeered, i panicked and locked up the brakes. I hopped a curb with either one or two of the front wheels, blew one tire, might have bent a rim. I just hope nothing else got messed up. I am leaving for Europe tomorrow so this I will have to deal with when i come back. Arg. Also, I know I f**ked up, you don't need to bring it up please. There is no exterior damage except for the wheels. I think i hopped the curb at no more than 15 mph.
This happened real close to my house so it wasnt too bad getting back home.

Just some quick crappy shots i just took

s**t foo. you said the car didnt turn how it was suppose to but understeer is a safety thing that happens with front wheel drive vehicles. if you hit the curb hard enough to blow the tire depending on the angle of the wheel -> the curb and stuff like that you possibly could have bent some of the suspension.

I did something like that in the snow a few years ago and my front suspension was f**ked, it cost me $1300 to get fixed. Use it as an excuse to get some new rims.

Yeah, body looks fine, I don't care about the rims, im getting new ones anyway, I just hope that the suspension isnt very screwed up.

Could the shocks/springs be damaged by this curb jump? Im guessing the struts could blow.

yeah the suspension all be damaged by hitting something. you really just need to worry about that after you get back, no ones gonna take your car in that shape.

the new theft deterant, flat tire and a bent rim
