Tell the bodyshop what you want on your car when the insurance cuts them a check for the appraised amount. Did you already go through insurance and did they send an appraiser to check out your car yet?

btw...that really sucks about the accident.

Whats ur deductable btw?

first you have to get the estimate by the insurance company. then you will find out how much money you got to work work. a oem hood doest cost as much as a cf hood. i think its half of the price cf hood. you can talk to the shop and tell them you want a cf hood. the shop i know, they will give me the money for the price of the stock hood and let me go buy the cf hood and pay for the rest when its not enough.

oh i see my deductable is freakin $500 but anyway..... i mean like not like the real expensive cg hoods for like $1100 i'm talking about like the ones for like 3 or 4 hundred don't like the umm oem hoods cost like 4 or 5 hundred... i'm going tomorrow morning to get an estimate.... and after that i dunno whats happends... i guess the insurance company gives them the money for the estimate and i just pay the deductable somebody correct me if i am wrong.? could i just not get certain things fixed and keep the money??

You will end up paying the diffenrece. A friend of mine was in a simalar situation and he paid an extra 30 bucks for Z3 fenders.

depending on how the estimate on the hood is, the oem hood will cost less. if your going to get a cf hood, the oem hood paint and labor will not be included. most shops will get a use hood from where for about 150. so your most likely to get about 150 to spend on a cf hood and you will pay the rest. but if you know the people at the shop very well, they will hook you up with more.
