I got my XM today

I bought an XM tuner today, Pioneer GEX-P910XM and just finished hooking it up. I just signed up too, so now I get like 100 channels in my car . Anyone else have it? Any good channels to preset? It takes a while to scroll through all of them. I mounted the tuner under the passenger seat, and I stuck the Fugly antenna on the trunk. That's the only thing that I don't like.

Well, it doesn't sound as good as I thought it would, and I have lost service in a few places. Grrrr. but it's ok so far.

What kind of deck are you using?

Also, try relocating the antenna to inside the car on the rear deck then try to see if you get more dead spots this way. If not, then you should leave it inside. I would get it too but dont want the antenna sitting on the trunklid.

Ive also seen antennas that are so thin, they slip under the molding of the rear window. I gotta find out more about that.

Nah, it would be too much of a pain in the ass. It is held on with double sided tape, and I would have to take the hole car apart again... Maybe one day.

I have mine mounted where my cup holders used to be...I made a curved plate and mounted it on there. Looks goods, and mine doesnt go out, only when I go under a bridge or something. I have stock stereo in my car so I have the Delphi unit thing. I love it, I think I wanna get the playboy channel too

Good idea on the antenna. Have any pics of it?

I would get the delphi one but probably wouldnt use it anywhere else besides being in the car and I stream music online. I just need the brain from alpine.

Playboy channel is $3.99 a month. I dunno if its worth listening to when theres quality music out there.
