i just changed the alternador belt on my '97 civic ex but i had to loose the compressor's belt also to take it out.
i probably left the compressor belt too tight?.. the vibration is coming from the engine compartment.

Hope the info I give is right....If you say it's the A/C and the powersteering, then it's probably the tension of both belts.
Tighten the A/C belts tension from the idler pulley mount bolt
#17

Loosen the top and bottom bolts that mounts the powersteering to the engine, bring the powersteering closer to the front of the vehicle for more tension, then tighten both bolts.
Both bolts listed as #6

I've had problems like that countless times, but be careful not to tighten the A/C pulley TOO MUCH. I just readjusted my tension last week, and a day later I was driving and my pulley fell off and the mount bent.... lol

Only when the A/C is on? Then it's probably the compressor. If it happens all the time, A/C on or off, then it's probably the bearing for the idler pulley.
Try adjusting the tension once more, you don't want to have too little or too much, I believe 1/4 of an inch to 1/2 an inch is the recommended length.
