i know nothing of audio HELP!

alrighty...

i got an alpine 10 inch type r 1500w peak sub...
a rockford punch amp 150 rms watts per channel @ 4ohms 300 total RMS watts @ 2 ohms
and a 4 gauge amp kit..and 10inch sub enclosure

i dont know what the hell those meant..im thinking about install them myself so where the hell should i begin?

anyone got like some kinda step by step directional guide in installing them? again i know nothing of audio..

PLEASE HELP! :cry: :cry:

ok i dont have a step by step guide for you but i can talk you through it if you like.

find out the rms wattage of the sub, that needs to be somewhat close to the rms wattage of the amp. rms is the power going to your sub at long intervals of bass, and peak wattage is the amount of power going to your sub at short punches. if your amp cant provide enough rms wattage for the rms wattage of the sub, its not going to be very loud, and the bass notes will be distorted and unclear, aka sound really shitty haha
