I may be called ghey for this, but so what.
I wanted to have a better grip and feel on my steering wheel, increase it's grip girth, and make it look better. But at the same time I didn't want to lose the safety of my air bag.
So I can't change the wheel to a momo... I have to cover it somehow. And so I found wheelskins.com.
Pretty nice. Good quality leather with good stitching and great fit. You get to pick custom colors in any combination. I got the Euroskin for the two tone, and chose Gray and Charcoal to match my stock gray interior. Maybe I shoulda put Black with Gray or something. But at first glance it looks stock, but nicer somehow. Then you realize the two tone and leather is what's different. $45, but you get what you pay for.
Stitching took about 45 minutes and like an idiot, I had the stiches inverted so I had to redo it. But once done, it looks clean. You can still see the threads, which is the most ghetto part of it, but it doesn't look bad. The pics at the website are pretty accurate. I'm thinking about selling them online. Would you buy em?
I try and post a pic of mine. You can call me ghey or ricey then.
