I need a little help

WUHDUHP my fellow club members , last nite i noticed that i have a lil problem with my battery light coming on and when i acellerate it turns off but now its deciding to stay on a lil longer than when it first started... i work 13 long ass hours a day and come home too tired to trouble shoot right now so, if any of you brothers out there have any quick usefull ideas/tips i would appreciate it...

This thread is a better fit for the tech section. Try tightening the alternator belt. If that does not help, then take the car to an auto parts store that will test the charging system (alternator).

If the belt isnt loose its the ALT. Do you have a under-drive crank pulley? If so it will cause that if you dont have the alt pulley to go with it.

i ended up going to autozone on my lunch break and had them test my alternater which turned out that it was bad so, i ended up buying a new one and handing them my old one for $129...
