i need and advice

i have a 98 hatch with a y8 ( brand new water pump..oil pump timing belt.. everything) ii have a yonaka exhaust anddc short ram, i know D series dont work well or at all with bolts on.. so how much hp or torque will add a nice cam ( stage 2 maybe) aem adj. cam gear, and hondata ecu?
im not trying to get more than 300 whp even with turbo.( working my way there)

You won't even break 200. -.- 300 is shooting for the starsssss. If you want your sohc to be "fast" then turbo is pretty much your only option.

turbo dont waist money on cam you wont get more then 140 with cam i/h/e its not worth it. save your money for a turbo or sumthng better.

As everyone stated just save up for either a turbo or swap it would be your best route.

i will go turbo eventually thats for sure.. but so far i only have a turbo from a saab. still need injector intercooler kit bov..blah blah.. so i thought that maybe adding a cam will help the turbo performance...
