i need help installing some lowering springs

I'm not sure if you should be doing it yourself ... You need the right tools.. And spring compressor for them.
Not trying to be a jerk, I'm just saying.

don't install lowering springs on your stock struts, buy struts and springs, the life of both will be improved.

oh and just take it to a shop

i just lowered mine 2 days ago with springs and let me tell you...its AWFUL. if you can handle frustration then go for it. if not, find someone that knows how. shops will charge you an insane amount. and if you dont take it to a shop, youll need a spring compressor which you can rent from auto zone or o reilys for $50..and when you return it, you get your $50 back.

Lol. It's actually not that frustrating. You just have to make sure the the top mount is properly aligned. And also, I agree with everyone who says you should get performance shocks.
Also, for most lowering springs, you do not need to compress the spring by much (if at all) to get the top mount back on, just to take the stock spring off.

this is true. when i did my suspension i just said f**k it, cuz the lca's and bolts, and got myself some new lca's with my coilovers

Lol. The top mount on my brother's shot across the garage when we did his. The nut shot off too and we spent an hour looking for it. We ended up putting the springs and shocks on a blanket and folding the blanket over. Then a friend stepped on the bottom of the shock while I reached into the blanket and loosened the nut with a combination wrench and an allen wrench. The top mount and nut shot off into the blanket.
