I have a problem and would appreciate it if someone could help me out.
I'm getting my build up, and really close to running it. The problem is a few wire connections from the engine to the harness.
First one, I have the connector of my crankshaft pulley and I found where it connects to. The problem is that the connector on the pulley is two pin and the one on the engine harness is three pin. The two wires on the pulley are solid light blue and white. The three wires on the harness are red/white, black/brown, and red/dark blue. So I'm having trouble finding out which wire signals go with which to where I could just splice them and be done with that problem.
The second problem: As you can see in one of the pictures, there's a cut red/dark blue wire by itself. That's my knock sensor. The problem is that I don't have a connector for it.
But what I do have in hand is a 1997 Honda civic hx d16y5 engine harness on hand that I can cut up and splice if I have to. Are there any other type of color coded wires from the old harness that I can use in case I don't find the original color coded wires for the KS and CKF? For example, like a green/black wire that can pair up with the red/white wire. I'm asking this because the two connections aren't even close to touching.
I'll be putting some pictures of what I found.
Thank you again.
